Mid−Day Forex Technical Report − Dollar Remains Pressured after Mixed Data by ActionForex.com
Mixed bag of data was released from the US today. On the one hand, Chicago PMI unexpectedly rebounded to 56.6 in Dec, much better than expectation of 51.8. On the other hand, new home sales plummeted by −9.0% to a 12 year low of 647k annualized rate in Nov, showing that there is still no sign of bottoming in the housing down turn.
